Warstic Bat Co is an independent Texas based company committed to building a unique brand of wood bat for serious players of any age. We sell Craftsmanship, Design & Performance. Warstic seeks to connect with players who BATTLE. We believe design matters, craftsmanship isn't a choice, it's part of the job, the only wood is the good wood, and that baseball is better when wood is at the heart of the game. Our Hand Forged bats are made from American White Ash with straight grains, Rock Hard Sugar Maple or Dense Yellow Birch selected for high level performance and durability. We work hard to offer the finest wood bats that you will ever see or play with because we love to do 2 things: To Play Ball & to Make Things. We get to do both here, so we don't have to much to complain about. We take great pride in making our product entirely in the USA and also supporting US Military Veterans.
If you have found Warstic Bat Co, you know what wood bats are about and why you play and train with them. This is where most bat companies talk extensively about their unique processes, techniques and magical "select" wood. Frankly, there are very few secrets to making a great wood baseball bat. It's about sourcing, selecting (and mostly PAYING for) the best wood, attention to detail and knowing how to achieve the right feel when it comes to design. We know, as players ourselves, what we care about is performance and feel. They go hand in hand. The right feel creates confidence and affects how you swing. And of course performance is all that matters when you square one up. We can't fake this. We ourselves use these bats and stand by them. The added bonus infused in our baseball and softball bats is the Warrior's mentality that we encourage every player to harness. Simple as that. It's in our name. It's in our Vintage Wartip Stain style. It's in the trademark Warstripes that are burned into every bat. It's not about numbers, stats, rankings, being the top prospect, DI or DIII, 60 yard dash times, having 5 tools, or signing bonuses.
It's about EVERY AT BAT. Making each one count. Then the success, honors, records and maybe even a paycheck will come.
Warstic has received allot of acclaim, quickly. And we are very thankful for that. But our plan for growth is not to grow too fast or out-advertise the competition. We are not going out trying to attach our name to all the top prospects or names in the game either. It's more about slowly building a following of players, of any age or at any level, with this common approach at the plate and to life. Battle. Whether you are a power hitting cleanup man, leadoff hitter or 9 hole scrapper...When you step to the plate with a Warstic...please do so with this mentality. Or please use someone else's bat.
Give a Warstic a try and we think you will be extremely pleased with the product.

"Absolutely love this bat. I have used Marucci, Rawlings, and Louisville, but the best is hands down Warstic!"
"I initially purchased a bat on the whim of supporting a smaller, up and coming company. I appreciate the little guys and think that they ultimately care more for their customers and produce a better product because it's made from the passion they display themselves rather than the mass production that you get from the other competitors (I was a Louisville Slugger guy before). When I received my Warstic I loved the weight and feel and it had a definite balance that I had not been able to find before. I also appreciate your attention to detail and offerings of in-between sizes, I prefer a 33" bat, however adding that extra half inch just adds more confidence and plate coverage. I'm happy to say I'll be a returning customer, thanks for all the hard work!"
"Keep up the awesome job! I really like the look and feel of the bat (machined very nicely) and the fact you're a small American company. :) Your prices are amazingly low, too. We'll definitely be buying replacement bats from you in the future!"
"I found out about Warstic bats through a friend, he mentioned it to me casually and I investigated it myself, always eager to try new bats. I ordered one for myself, to use for now in the cages and I intend on purchasing a new one when the summer season comes around. I am currently a player/coach for the NYPD Baseball Team. The team is comprised of New York city police officers ranging in age from early 20's to early 40's. I am 30, right in the middle of the pack. The bat I ordered was a beautiful piece of lumber, the unique design of the bat and the inscription made the bat look amazing. I have since used the bat a number of times and it is a great bat. The ball really jumps off and the balance and the feel of the bat is great. When I purchased the bat for myself I bought one as a gift for one of my players and he has had rave reviews as well. I hope the other players on my team heed my advice to buy their own Warstic bats. I look forward to my next purchase and using your great product in the 2012 campaign. Thank you and keep up the good work."
"I am a coach and parent. My son is a 10U player and will play a tournament every two weeks. I coach 2 10U teams, a 12U team and a 13U team. I also manage the business operations of the program. I have gotten nothing but positive feedback on both the fungo and the youth bat. The aesthetics are awesome, the bat is well balance and so far the quality of both bats is superior. We will be recommending Warstic to all our kids, 160 total, and each coach will be getting a Warstic fungo. Keep up the good work!"
"My son used it in his fall ball league and hit the ball farther and with more ease then I could have imagined. Your customer service was great when I ordered and the bat was beautiful. Thank you!"
"My College-age son thinks the bat is great, well balanced and holding up to everyday practice. The personal name on the bat is what got my attention. After seeing the bat with the close grain and quality workmanship I was happy that we chose Warstic Bat Co."
"Just wanted to say that you guys make an awesomely unique, high-quality product that lives up to its brand name. Warstic has some of the best ones that I've ever seen. Also, you're name is awesome. Keep up the great work!"
About the Founder ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////
An excerpt from centraltrack.com...
In his younger years, Dallas, Texas native Ben Jenkins really was an honest-to-goodness ballplayer. He played four years of Division 1 college baseball as a middle infielder at Oklahoma University and Mississippi State University -- and well enough to earn himself a cup of tea playing Minor League ball within the Philadelphia Phillies' minor league system. Now, at 38 years of age, he doesn't like to brag too much about those days."Ex-Minor Leaguers and ex-college players like me are a dime a dozen," he says with a humble shrug, recounting the number of former teammates he had who also never made it to The Show. So, OK, as far as his baseball playing credentials go, no, maybe Jenkins' story isn't all that unique. But the way his love affair with the game has played out? Well, that is a pretty novel tale. That's because, years after giving up on his adolescent dreams of playing professionally, Jenkins' love for the game remained; the athletically built, scruffy looking father of three sheepishly admits that he still plays ball an average of three times a week in recreational leagues around the region. But he's also finally found a way to make the game work out for him.
Since Opening Day of 2011, Jenkins has helmed what could arguably be seen as the hottest new commodity in the oft-dated world of the national pastime. That's when, under the name of his Warstic Bat Co. brand, Jenkins -- who, since leaving the game, had made a name for himself with his prominent, Texas based brand design firm OneFastBuffalo -- rolled out a product that combined of his two greatest non-family-related passions, design and the old ballgame: He started producing and selling wooden baseball bats. Not just any bats, either. Ones that looked every bit as good as they hit -- a product that could, and indeed turned out to be, as desirable a purchase as a work of art as it is a functioning tool of the sport.
But make no mistake Warstic bats were made for game play. "Yes, we get allot of praise for the beauty of the bats. I am happy about that but it was totally unexpected. I have zero interest in selling anything but a bat that was conceived, built and finished for use by ballplayers. it was either produce the best quality of bat for play that can be made, or don't do it all. We are not going for quantity we are going for quality. We sell good wood only. Period. And design is a part of quality in my mind. Good design is something that should be a part of the process of making anything that is worth making. As far as the design appreciation our bats have received, I attribute this to my choices as a designer about just letting the natural beauty and form of a baseball bat and the natural wood not be overpowered by graphics. I just decided the bats should have a timeless simplicity and simple trademark that complimented the tool itself. The name is about a mentality of play. And I also don't see ay reason to limit the use of color. We have color on our uniforms and the bat is just part of that. It's another part of representing our mentality as a player."
"What I have enjoyed most is making a product that brings so much enjoyment and happiness to players of all ages when they receive and use the bats. I enjoy hearing from players of any age or level of play. Minor leaguers, Youth players, Adult players, College, you name it. I relate to all of them. I was never the best player on the field but I doubt anyone loved the Art of the Battle as much as I did on any given day. Now when I see my own sons play it's those moments of intense battle that test their character and courage that make me realize the game is worth playing again and again. "
